Sam Fitzgibbon
Psychotherapist
My clinical experience has taken me into diverse settings, including a general psychotherapy clinic, a men’s prison, and, most recently, working with male survivors of sexual abuse. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the challenges people face and the ways therapy can support meaningful change.
While I’m open to working with anyone, regardless of their reasons for seeking therapy, I have particular areas of interest:
Anxiety
Depression
PTSD
Sexual abuse
Self-esteem and self-image
Male-specific challenges
Therapy is a space where you can bring whatever is on your mind. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and equipped to work through challenges in a way that feels authentic to you.
I make use of a range of different therapeutic techniques and approaches. I see each person as a unique individual with unique challenges and I seek to tailor the therapy to them. I work in a warm, caring, professional and pragmatic way.
Outside of my work, I enjoy sports, exercise, a good film, spending time with my loved ones, and being out in nature.
